Amy Ester, FNP-C
Amy was born and raised in Central Florida and recently moved back to the area to pursue her dream of opening her own practice. At the mere age of 18, she enlisted as an X-ray technician in the United States Army and served for six years. During her time in the military, she deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, which ignited her passion to want to become a nurse. From there, she attended the University of Texas, where she obtained her Bachelor's of Science in Nursing. She gained varied experience across the lifespan in the pediatric and adult emergency room, as well as the neonatal intensive care unit. Her compassion and love for caring for people, ultimately paved her way to return for her Master's of Nursing, specializing in Family Nurse Practitioner at Walden University. She has since practiced in family medicine, urgent care, and obstetrics and gynecology. She prides herself in establishing a rapport with her patients, allowing them to be an active participant in their plan of care. She reviews goals, provides options and individualizes and tailors the care for each one of her patients. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, traveling, visiting the beach and cooking.
