Amy was born and raised in Central Florida and recently returned home to pursue her dream of opening her own practice — a vision rooted not only in her clinical experience, but in her faith and her calling to serve her community. At just 18 years old, she enlisted in the United States Army as an X‑ray technician, proudly serving for six years. During her deployment in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, she discovered a profound passion for caring for others. That season of service strengthened her faith, shaped her resilience, and ignited the desire to become a nurse.

She went on to earn her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas, gaining invaluable experience in the pediatric and adult emergency departments, as well as the neonatal intensive care unit. Her compassion, dedication, and God‑given heart for people inspired her to continue her education, completing her Master of Science in Nursing with a Family Nurse Practitioner specialization at Walden University.

Throughout her career in family medicine, urgent care, and obstetrics and gynecology, Amy has remained passionate about providing care that is both clinically excellent and deeply personal. She believes in meeting patients where they are, listening with intention, and creating space for them to be active participants in their health journey. Her approach is rooted in faith, empathy, and the belief that every person deserves to feel seen, heard, and supported.

Amy takes time to review goals, discuss options, and tailor each plan of care to the individual — honoring the whole person, not just the diagnosis. Her passion for service and her commitment to walking alongside patients through every season of life are at the heart of Anchored in Health.

Outside of her professional life, Amy enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, traveling, visiting the beach, and cooking. Her love for family, her faith, and her desire to serve her community continue to guide her both personally and professionally.
